Best hidden gem in NEO! I got the hand cut Ribeye and it was hands down just as good as the high dollar steak houses in town. The coleslaw had a great horseradish flavor to it if you're a fan. The service was the best we have had in a long time. Possibly the best service we've ever had in a restaurant. Highly recommend checking this place out.

We have been trying to get in to Teschner's since just after the pandemic and... no luck. Why? Because the place is packed!!! Seriously I live a few miles away and every time I go by the parking lot is packed and there is a line out the door. One time there were a few cars, no line... we were excited... but private event!! So we were stoked when we were on our way to the grocery store on a very snowy afternoon, the other day... few cars, no private event, and we were like woo hoo!! What impressed me the most is how mature Teschner's is now. They know who they are, what they do, and their customers. And that is a good product. The atmosphere is like Cheers. It's a really nice feeling. The food here is outstanding. Their mom's homemade recipes - like the green beans, I really recommend this it's like my grandmother's growing up in western Maryland, or the "magic mustard" wing sauce, my wife's favorite - are still there. But there is some refinement too. The French Onion soup I had was really subtle - the onion broth done over hours and no cheese bomb overload. Just a nice soup. Salads were fresh with homemade white French dressing; burger was well prepared. There were so many other things we wanted to try - we will be back! If we can get in! :-) Really happy to see such a great local place hitting its stride in Richfield. It's worth a trip out from Cleveland / Akron.

Small tavern so make sure to get on the waitlist early. We dined here twice and the wait was 1hr during rush time but was able to walk in when the first opened at 3pm. Place has a great vibe, cult local following but well deserved! The wings are amazing, I recommend the Teschner's Sauce. Frisco Melt were amazing, fries were crispy, and my partner got the bacon cheeseburger melt. We got the spinach artichoke dip both times. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely be back!

After living in the area for the past four years, I finally made it to Teschner's Tavern and all I can wonder is why it took me so long? This place is great! It's easy to see why it gets such good ratings. Located in Richfield, it definitely has a local dive-bar feel to it, but don't let that fool you. The food is high-end quality and the prices are very reasonable. They utilize a check-in system on an iPad at the front door and they have chairs and benches outside to sit while you wait. The bartenders were very friendly and made great recommendations. My husband and I wound up going with a Tavern side salad, a watermelon halloumi salad, the burnt ends, the spinach and artichoke dip, and the polish-dilla quesadilla with smoke sausage, sauerkraut, and crème fraiche. First, let me tell you that if you look at their menu online, it does not cover half of what they actually serve. Their menu is huge and full of amazing options. Second, every single thing we ordered was phenomenal. The dip was fantastic. The burnt rnds were huge and served over a bed of polenta. The quesadilla was unique and delicious. And the watermelon salad? Wow!! All of this plus sodas was around $60. Not bad for all we got. We needed to bring some home with us as well. The place is known for their burgers and wings so we want to try those next time. The wing sauces and ribs are house made and they have some unique flavors not found at your typical restaurant. They also have nightly specials. It is smaller inside and so you may wait a bit but it's definitely worth it. Check this place out - you won't be disappointed.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere and service was great. It's started to get busy at 5pm and usually stays busy! Small place but food is great and portioned well!! Burgers are huge! We will be back to try the wings!

I love this place. I've been there 2x in 2 weeks. First got the steak special on Saturday. Delicious! No lie. Steak was perfect and seasoned excellent!ly. The next week I got wings and a wedge salad. Both excellent as well. Probably the best wings I've ever had. I got bourbon glaze and the wings were big and meaty. So good! Wedge was equally good. I can't say enough about the food. The place is small and most likely when you go there will be a wait. Seating is at a premium. But it's worth it! It's is a dive bar, nothing crazy but the food that comes out of the kitchen is excellent. Here's my only issue. The bill. I think my check was added to after I filled out the tip and such. And I'm not the only one to notice. The couple we came with also noticed what he put and what was charged seemed different. Not sure what that is about. I noticed too late to say something. Next visit I will be more diligent in paying attention. I hope it's just me making a mental math mistake and not anything else. I will be back and look closer at the bill next time.

"Dive bar atmosphere" at its best! We loved this little joint. Be sure to check in at the bar when you arrive to find out where to sit. It is limited seating, but we had no trouble when we arrived. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The menu has so many yummy looking options, and we had trouble deciding. I wound up with the house salad with salmon with basil balsamic dressing. Where has basil balsamic been all my life? It was really a great dressing for the salad, which was fresh and a great size. I wish I had been hungry enough for the salmon entree. My husband wrestled between the walleye and perch entree; he chose the latter. It was lightly breaded and tasted great. He opted for coleslaw and baked potato for sides. All burgers can be made with beef, chicken, or veggie patty. Um, there's a Dahmer burger (!). While that one did not interest me, the GMO (garlic, mushroom, onion) option looked amazing. Don't forget to check out the desserts! We forgot to save room.
